Typical concerns

Typical concerns include sprains, fractures after completed acute care, dislocations, joint pain, osteoarthritis-related irritation, wound checks and bothersome osteosynthesis material such as plates, screws or nails.

Diagnostics

Assessment includes physical examination, function testing, ultrasound for soft tissue and tendons, and X-rays to assess bones and joints. If necessary, further imaging, laboratory tests or specialist co-treatment are coordinated.

Treatment options

Treatment includes wound care, dressings, splints, injections for joint complaints, follow-up after injuries and suitable outpatient procedures such as hardware removal or treatment of exostoses. Medications such as cortisone or hyaluronic acid are used only after individual consideration.

Outpatient process and follow-up

Recovery is supported with clear activity recommendations. Physiotherapy, lymph drainage, orthopedic aids or clinic partners are included when needed.
