- Clarify realistic expectations
Services
Plastic and aesthetic surgery combines functional and aesthetic questions. Counseling and treatment are discreet, realistic and focused on natural, medically appropriate results.
Scope of services
Concerns may include bothersome or painful scars, skin and soft-tissue changes, plastic-aesthetic corrections after injury or surgery, congenital malformations, excess eyelid skin, ear correction, age spots, gynecomastia, lipedema-associated complaints, removal of excess skin and soft tissue such as an abdominal apron after weight change, and medically indicated or aesthetic use of botulinum toxin and comparable injection treatments.
Assessment begins with examination, photo documentation where required, expectation setting and risk-benefit evaluation. Functional complaints and aesthetic goals are discussed separately and transparently.
Options include conservative scar treatment, injections, pressure or silicone therapy, surgical scar revision, eyelid and ear correction and selected plastic-aesthetic procedures. Which treatment is appropriate is discussed personally after examination and individual consultation.
Follow-up includes wound checks, scar care, protection from strain and realistic progress monitoring. For complex findings, cooperation with further specialist areas may be useful.
