Scope of services

Clearly structured

Diagnostics

  • Mobility and strength testing
  • Ultrasound or X-ray when needed
  • Assessment of nerve, tendon and soft-tissue complaints

Treatment

  • Ganglion and soft-tissue procedures
  • Trigger finger release
  • Nerve decompression for suitable complaints

Follow-up

  • Wound checks
  • Rest and gradual return to activity
  • Hand therapy when needed

Typical concerns

Typical concerns include ganglion, carpal tunnel syndrome, de Quervain tenosynovitis, trigger finger, Dupuytren contracture, tendon and soft-tissue complaints, and congenital malformations such as syndactyly or polydactyly.

Diagnostics

Before treatment, examination, mobility and strength testing, and where needed ultrasound and X-ray diagnostics are performed. This helps distinguish whether conservative care, injection or surgery is appropriate.

Treatment options

Depending on the findings, conservative measures, nerve decompression, trigger finger release, ganglion removal or reconstructive procedures may be considered. Procedures may be planned under plexus anesthesia or another regional anesthesia technique depending on the situation. All steps are planned with function and appearance in mind.

Outpatient process and follow-up

After operations, wound checks, rest and often targeted hand therapy are important. Follow-up is adapted to work, daily life, healing and desired resilience.
