Typical concerns

Typical reasons for treatment include inguinal, umbilical and incisional hernias, skin and soft-tissue changes such as lipomas or cysts, inflammatory findings, smaller wounds, questions about skin biopsies or outpatient procedures, and unexplained pain or palpable changes.

Diagnostics

Diagnostics begin with medical history and physical examination. Depending on the findings, ultrasound, X-ray diagnostics or existing specialist reports are included. The next steps are discussed transparently, including alternatives, risks and follow-up requirements.

Outpatient process and follow-up

Before a procedure, local anesthesia or general anesthesia, the process and aftercare are explained. After treatment, wound checks and activity-related recommendations follow. For more complex findings, cooperation with specialist clinics or other disciplines is prepared.
